Travel Tryout Checking Clinics

The Raiders will be hosting three Body Checking Clinic in preparation for our 2026-27 Travel Tryouts. The clinics will be focused on teaching and reinforcing proper techniques to deliver and receive a body check safely. We encourage all players who have not participated in a full season of hockey at the body checking levels (14U Travel & Older) to attend all three sessions. 

This is ONLY for players trying out for Raiders 14U (or older) Travel teams for the 2026-2027 season. Older players (both House 14U and 16U/18U) who have not played a full season in a body checking environment are also welcome to participate.

Any players who are not registered for Raiders Travel Tryouts or are not currently participating in our Spring House, Spring Selects, or were members or of 12U/14U Fall/Winter House programs will not be permitted to attend and will be turned away.

Players are encouraged to attend all three sessions as the practice drills will progress and be built on the previous practices, but if players are only able to attend one or two, that would be permitted.

There is no charge for attending the clinics. We ask that all players interested in attending to register in advance for the clinics.
