ImPACT Testing Online
We are continuing our partnership with the Inova Primary Care-Fair Oaks Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic to aid in the concussion management of our Reston Raiders Ice Hockey players. This year FFPC3 is affording our players, age 10 and older (born on, or before April 1, 2014) the opportunity to complete the ImPACT Neurocognitive Assessment Battery baseline test through remote testing from home. This testing is not to be confused with the King Devick test which is administered at the rink. The ImPACT test is a return to play tool.
This testing is not required but strongly encouraged. So much so, that the Raiders will cover the costs for this testing.
This test will take between 20 – 30 minutes to complete and should be completed on a laptop or desktop computer with internet access and equipped with a mouse. It is NOT to be completed on a Smart Phone or Tablet. You will receive an email from ImPACT Applications (support2@impacttest.com) with subject heading: You’ve Been Assigned an ImPACT Test. The email will provide you with a link for your child to take the test. This is the adult version of the test suitable for players age 10 and older (born on, or before April 1, 2014).
