The travel teams are more competitive in nature and require a more significant commitment in terms of time and cost. Commitment relates to both the player and his/her parents. Teams have a substantial number of extra practices, exhibition and tournament games at a greater cost than house. Coaches of teams expect all the parents to be involved supporting and volunteering on the team. Please be aware of your commitment to your child’s team so it may be rewarding experience for all.
RRHC Travel 2010-11 Registration
All 2010-11 Raiders must register for the upcoming season,
Including those players chosen for 2010-11 Raider Travel teams.
All registrants must register online for USA Hockey before registering for the Reston Raiders Hockey Club. Players who tried out for a travel team should already have a 2010-11 USA Hockey number.

The Reston Raiders Hockey Club exists to provide opportunities for boys and girls of all skill levels to play ice hockey, from the beginning player to the highly skilled player. 2010-11 Raiders Travel Fees
Members are asked to pay their fees when registering. The Reston Raiders Hockey Club offers the convenience of payment by credit card. Credit cards are accepted during the online registration process. Members can also elect to pay by personal check. Members facing extreme circumstances who need special accommodation in the payment of fees should contact the Reston Raiders Treasurer at

Sibling Discounts
Sibling discounts are available to all club member families and will be applied automatically during online registration. The fee for the first (oldest) child is at the full base rate. The Reston Raiders fees for younger sibling fees will be reduced according to the following table:

The club’s Board of Directors is sensitive to the financial commitment for families with multiple children in Raider programs. Financial considerations should not prevent any family’s children from participating. Additional discounts for families with four or more children will be considered on a case-by-case basis, upon written request. Goalie Discounts
Goaltenders will be given discounts on Reston Raiders House or Travel fees. All goalies receive a $250 discount, up to 2 goalies per team. To receive the discount, the player must play goalie all season. Goalie discounts are not deducted automatically from the registration payment. The discount will be refunded no later than January 31, 2011.
Refund Policy
I also understand and agree that a refund of all or any portion of the registration fee will be considered only if the said player is rendered unable to continue his/her participation due to extended illness or a required move from the area. The amount of the refund, if any, shall be determined by the action of the RRHC Board of Directors and such determination shall be final.
Travel Team Fees
Travel team players will pay based upon the schedule provided in their team financial commitment contract (and shown below).
1.Deposit: All players selected for a Raiders Travel team paid a $500 deposit before the first tryout session.
2. Register and Pay Team Fee Installment: Players selected to travel teams must register online with the Raiders during the returning members’ registration period. During the club registration process, players will be required to make a $500 payment towards their fee, as specified in their financial commitment/contract returned at tryouts. The fee can be paid online by credit card, or by check payable to RRHC, mailed to the club address.
3. Pay Remainder Fee: Travel player club registration and full payment is due by August 15, 2010, as specified in their signed commitment and financial agreement contract. This payment can be made online by credit card, or by check payable to RRHC, mailed to the club address.

In addition to the club fees shown here, Travel players are responsible for buying jerseys, socks, and covering costs associated with out-of-town travel, such as tournament fees, hotels, and transportation.
Returning Member Registration Procedure
The Reston Raiders will be using an online registration system for the 2010-11 season. The online system allows member families to update their membership records and contact information, register for the season, and pay by credit card online. Registrations will not be processed for any member with outstanding balances owed to the Raiders until the owed fees are paid in full.
Deadline: August 15th for all payments

Registration and all payments must be completed online or received by the club before August 15th for travel players.

Players will not be rostered to teams until they are registered and paid their second installment payment.
