The Raiders are committed to promoting girls hockey across the region and to sharing opportunities for our players to watch and learn from the girls and women who have reached higher levels of hockey and who continue to break down barriers and grow the game. This includes:
Girls’ hockey clinics sponsored by the Washington Capitals, the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA), the U.S. Women’s’ National and Olympic teams, the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League, Potomac Valley Amateur Hockey Association, our local USA Hockey affiliate, and the Washington Pride, the region’s only Tier 1 girls’ hockey program.
In-person opportunities to watch PWHPA and NCAA women’s games and Tier 1 girls showcases featuring some of the best female teams from across the United States and Canada
Viewing parties to watch the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women’s World Championships, U18 World Championships, and women’s hockey at the Olympics.
